Handmade in the UK from galvanised sheet steel, our powder coated tapered planters instantly add a splash or colour, helping you turn unloved corners into mini gardens ready for your favourite flowers, subtle screening or feature plants.

Our powder coated planters are available in over 200 RAL colours, with a matt or gloss finish. The most popular RAL colours are RAL 7016 (anthracite grey), RAL 9005 (jet black) and 9010 (pure white), with many more colours available, including pinks, blues, greens, yellows, oranges, browns and purples. • Metal planters conduct cold and heat very effectively and in extreme conditions this can lead to the plant roots overheating or freezing. To combat this we supply pre-cut sheets of 25mm insulating material for each planter (optional extra on order form). We recommend our Insulation Kit is used in every metal planter. The kit also comes complete with 2 pre-cut sheets of separation membrane. This should be used in the base of the planter to filter the draining water so the dirt stays inside and also between the drainage aggregate layer and soil layer to keep them separate.
• To complement our Insulation Kit we supply LECA® drainage aggregate. Calculated in volume to the size of your planter, it provides 100mm depth of lightweight drainage medium, preventing the planter from becoming waterlogged due to bad weather or overwatering (optional extra on order form).
• We also supply feet to raise the planters off the ground and lockable wheels to make them easy to move around, ideal for shops or restaurants that need to store the planters inside at night (optional extra on order form).
• Each planter is handmade to order - so if you can't see the size or shape you're looking for on the website then drop us and email at sales@metalplantersuk.com with the length x width x height in millimetres that you need or use our Request a Quote form and we'll get back to you with a price. We can even make planters with cut outs to go around pipes/cables.
• All tapered planters come with drainage holes as standard, but you can opt not to have them when you place your order (with or without - the price is the same).
